EXXON VALDEZ OIL SPILL: (National Geographic, Aug. 1989, Jan. 1990) Natalie arrived in Valdez the day after the spill and spent the next three months covering the tragedy. Her coverage reaches from Valdez to Kodiak Island to the Alaska Peninsula. She returned in 1993 and again in 1998 to photograph the research being conducted, Native leaders and wildlife and general condition of the sound.
